The National Aviary is a fun and fairly inexpensive ($13/Adults, $11/Child) way to spend the day with the kids. The birds are very people friendly and have been known to perch on benches in close proximity to visitors, so prepare for a near-interactive experience. Watch a parrot paint for you or touch a penguing at Penguin Point. Children must be at least six years of age to attend some of these activities.
