If figure skating is your passion, the Pittsburgh area hosts several clubs where you can meet with like-minded individuals – and, of course, compete in the sport.

Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club

Founded nearly 90 years ago, the Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club is among the oldest of its kind in the nation. A member of the U.S. Figure Skating Association, this club “seeks to encourage participation in the sport of figure skating by all persons.” Members help put on amateur ice shows and carnivals. The club also publishes the “IceBurgh Newsletter” throughout the season. Various levels of membership are available – from a $220 full member home club through a $30 booster level. The club’s “home ice” is located at RMU’s Island Sports Center.
