Autopsy Results Inconclusive In 17-Month-Old Boy's Death

SALTSBURG (KDKA) – The results of an autopsy on the body of a 17-month-old who was found unresponsive in his Indiana County home were released Tuesday morning.

According to the coroner, the results of the autopsy on the body of Colby Jozefczyk are inconclusive.

They are currently awaiting results of further tests, including toxicology, before ruling on the cause and manner of the boy's death.

He was found unresponsive in his Saltsburg home on Monday and was pronounced dead at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.

In the meantime, KDKA-TV has learned that Colby's 3-year-old sister, Ava, was also hospitalized.

A search warrant for their mother's home in Saltsburg said both children had bruises.

On Monday, police removed several brown bags of possible evidence from the home. A neighbor says the little boy's sister had recently been in the hospital, but did not know why.
