Three Rivers Art Festival Announces Musical Lineup

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – With summer nearly here, it's also almost time for the Three Rivers Arts Festival.

And organizers announced some new information about the event Monday.

Visitors will get to see musicians such as Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Glen Hansard, Lisa Hannigan, Dr. Ralph Stanley and Nashville's Leagues, among many others at this year's festival.

The festival will also feature numerous art exhibitions, performance art, galleries and food truck Friday.

This year will mark the 54th year for the event, which started out as a "little outdoor art show" near the Carnegie Institute in the '60s, according to the festival's website.

It runs downtown June 7 through June 16.
