Boyce Park Wave Pool Reopening After Emergency Repairs

MONROEVILLE, Pa. (KDKA) - The Boyce Park Wave Pool is set to open back up to swimmers on Monday.

The Allegheny County Facilities Management and Parks Department announced that the wave pool will open June 10, with daily operating hours of 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The pool closed for emergency repairs on June 4 after it started losing water.

A hydrostatic relief valve, one of six, had malfunctioned.

As a proactive measure, facilities staff replaced all six of the pool's valves.
