Correia Added To All-Star Game Roster

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Another Pirate is headed to the All-Star Game.

According to the Pittsburgh Pirates website, starting pitcher Kevin Correia has been selected to replace the Philadelphia Phillies' Cole Hamels, who became ineligible when he started on Sunday.

Correia is 11-7 in the first half with an ERA just over 4. His 11 wins are tied for second in the National League.

He'll join closer Joel Hanrahan and outfielder Andrew McCutchen on the National League All-Star team.

The last time the Pirates sent three players to an All-Star game was in 1990.
