Police Make Arrest In Greenfield Homicide

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting death of a man in Pittsburgh's Greenfield neighborhood last month.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, police took Michael Randolph, 37, of North Versailles, into custody Thursday night.

The Post-Gazette reports Randolph is facing charges of criminal homicide and weapons violations in connection with the death of his 40-year-old roommate Mark Senay.

Senay's body was found in a home on Bristol Street in Greenfield on Jan. 6.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office later said he had been shot in the head, the Post-Gazette reports.

The PG reports that Randolph told investigators during an interview he and Senay had gotten into an argument, reportedly about the death of Senay's father. The argument led to a scuffle and then the shooting happened, officials say.

Randolph was being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
