They lined up in the lobby of Children’s Hospital – doctors, nurses and volunteers – for the autograph of a shoe shine man from Monessen.

His book, “Albert’s Kids,” tells stories spanning 30 years of generosity. During that time, Albert Lexie donated all his tips – $175,000 so far – to the Children’s Hospital Free Care Fund.
