PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — There’s some good news for drivers.

Officials with PennDOT say they will now delay work on the ramp from Crosstown Boulevard to the Boulevard of the Allies until after the morning rush hour.

Instead of 5 a.m., the ramp from Crosstown Boulevard to the Boulevard of the Allies will now shut down at 9 a.m. Monday.

The closure will run through September.

The posted detour takes you through town.

If you use that ramp, PennDOT says to allow plenty of extra time for your commute.
