PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Steelers Brett Keisel, Chris Hoke, Willie Colon and Ziggy Hood gathered to watch Hines Ward dance at S Bar on the South Side.

They cheered when Ward and his dancing partner got perfect 10s, but were unhappy after one of the judges gave Ward a 9.

All four of the players are urging Steelers fans to vote for Ward.

Ward and his partner are tied for first place with Disney actress Chelsea Kane, but when comes to voting Willie Colon thinks Ward’s biggest competition might be Kirstie Alley.

“There’s zero question that Hines is the best dancer on the show,” said Brett Keisel.

As for whether any of them would agree to compete on the show like Ward, Colon said, “I can move, but I couldn’t do in front of the nation!”

Hines is a really great dancer. And he deserves to be tied for first place. And fan voting only counts for half the score the teams will eventually recieve. The other half is the judges scores. The show is not about who is more popular. Not at all.

Likability PLUS dancing ability. Technically perfect robots might score well, but robots won’t win this kind of competition. But neither will a complete flat-footed slouch.

Hines has a great combination of likeability and dancing ability.

Here’s hoping he wins. He has done more than his part on the dancing end … let’s hope Steeler Nation comes through with the votes.

Last but not least … tweaking off the Ravens fans would be GOLD!!!!

Lisa, he was the best……had the highest and most consistent scores from the professional judges all season. For someone not in show business, he prove himself to be areal student and competitor!

I agree with Lisa, all reality shows are about who’s popular! Hines is a good dancer! But Chelsea is the BEST! ( she probably has had at least some dance training considering she is an actress.) If you’re judging “raw talent” then Hines should win. By the way, Jan you wouldn’t happen to be from Pittsburgh? I am, and I also dance. Of course, it would be nice to see a STEELER win, but this is or should be a DANCE COMPETITION !

Please! Over half the nation has never heard of Hines Ward. only football fanatics and a lot of men.

Who hasn’t heard of Kristi Allen or Chelsea. Just Chelsea’s youth group would vote her in.

It was about popularity but let’s not go overboard.
