Seven Springs Suspect Released From Jail
SEVEN SPRINGS (KDKA) -- A man is facing charges after allegedly trying to kidnap a young girl at Seven Springs.
The 11-year-old was sleeping in a room with her parents when 23-year-old Justin Weber took her from her bed and into the bathroom.
She screamed and got away. Her father thought it was a nightmare until the man came back, possibly to get a beer that he left behind.
The girl's father got a description and gave it to Seven Springs security who were able to apprehend the man and detain him until state police arrived.
The man was taken into custody on kidnapping, burglary and related charges. He was released from the Somerset County Jail Sunday after posting $75,000 bond.
He was able to enter the room because the door was ajar, but it remains unclear why he chose that particular room or what his intentions may have been once he was inside.
